Today and tomorrow marks the end of the European transfer window in most countries around Europe, there have been some interesting moves in the English premiere league like Elneny to Arsenal that was met much fanfare which is typical of Arsenal fans, Pato's loan move to Chelsea and Damary Gray at Leicester but for once in a couple of years, the EPL doesn't have the highest spending teams; China has them. Yup that's right. China! Chinese clubs have surprisingly carted away with a lot of European talent mostly Brazilians of course and if this trend continues, we might just have to add their teams to one of Europe's club tournaments.
The next transfer window in the summer promises some exciting deals with many of Europe's top strikers eyeing potential moves. Here are some of the potential transfers we may see in the Summer;
1. RYAD MAHREZ, JAMIE VARDY: a lot has been said about the steller season this Leicester city duo are having and quite frankly, more will be said. As far as attacking goes, they are combined the most potent attacking duo in the premiere league and with Leicester currently at the summit of the EPL and at the worst case take their team to the champions league, teams all over Europe will line up for the signatures. With Mahrez already linked with Barcelona, Arsenal and Manchester United while Vardy has been linked with moves to Chelsea and Dortmund, it will not be a surprise seeing both forwards move this summer.
2. ALEXIS SANCHEZ, AARON RAMSEY, JACK WILSHERE,: Arsenal fans will definitely not want to hear this and as an arsenal supporter my self, it hurts to say this but we're looking at another raid of our team this summer. Rambo has constantly been linked with a move to Barcelona and with Arsenal facing Barca in the UCL, a strong showing by Arsenal might have an effect on his decision, who knows? What we do know is that a call to Barcelona might be too hard to resist especially with Iniesta drawing closer to the end of his Carer. Jack Wilshere is undoubtedly one of the most talented midfielders in the world, when he's fit and with his injury problems still lingering, it might not come as a surprise if he's priced away by one Manchester City or more surprisingly PSG. A lot hasn't been said about him but trust me, it will be said in the summer. Alexis Sanchez is probably the best player in the English premiere league has been linked with a return to LA Liga and of course Chelsea and Manchester City. Hopefully arsenal won't lose their star player this transfer window.
3. CHELSEA STARS; As an Arsenal supporter I can only wish the worse for this club. And with their season going downhill they still had it in them to do a double in us but that's by the way, let's focus on Eden Hazard, Oscar, John Terry, Willian, Pedro and everyone else that will potentially exit the bridge this summer. Hazard has been linked with big money moves to Madrid and PSG while Oscar has been linked with Juventus. Willian and Pedro haven't exactly been talked about...yet just wait Tull the window opens. You'll see. John Terry has already indicated that he won't be extending his contract and might even do a Petr Cech on them. How sweet. That would be. All the same, Chelsea fans might not enjoy the next transfer window if they don't turn their awful season around.
4. YAYA TOURE, GAEL CLICHY, SAMIR NASRI: Toure is rumoured to be at the cusp of leaving the etihad everytime a transfer window opens, that doesn't seem likely to change especially with the potential appointment of Pep of whom Toure doesn't quite get along with. He will no doubt have a pick of Europe's top teams to choose from with Inter Milan and former boss Mancini in charge there. Gael Clichy and Samir Nasri for all their talent might not be city players for next season. Nasri has been plagued with injuries while Clichy hasn't had enough game time.
5. THE LEWANDOWSKI-BENZEMA-HIGUAIN AFFAIR: These three are among the hottest strikers in Europe right now. I honestly can't pick one from the other but we all know I'm not a top manager. Carlo Ancelloti is set to take over from Pep when he moves on to England and Carlo has voiced his admiration for Higuain meanwhile Lewy has been reportedly flirting with Real Madrid while Benzema has been, well he's been firing in goals. The coming transfer window will see some big money moves for these top strikers.
6. PAUL POGBA: There's not much I can say about this midfielder that you don't already know, and he's to some people already a Manchester city player. With Yaya Toure on the decline and Pep potentially taking over at the etihad, expect a big money approach for the French Super star
7. PIERRE-EMERICK AUBEMAYANG: Auba is surpassing even his own expectations for this season and has even casually talked about breaking Gerd Muller's scoring record in the BuLi. He will definitely be a target for most top clubs in Europe, especially Arsenal who have allegedly tried to sign him in this window. Only time will tell if the African player of the year remains with his close friend Reus or make new friends at the Emirates.
8. ZLATAN: Zlatan ibrahimovic is in the last year of his PSG contract and has indicated an interest in moving to the EPL meanwhile, his previous team AC Milan have also been linked with his services. Zlatan is Zlatan and he probably will end up where Zlatan desires. Nuff said.
