Normally, this result shouldn't be regarded as a big deal. Let's not forget, the Champions of England came up against the runners up in the Belgian league. However, this isn't any normal situation. The difference between this season and last is the media attention that's firmly on everything the foxes do. We all want to know if lightning will strike twice and from their showing at the Jan Breydel Stadium, there's no reason why it can't.
We've heard and certainly will hear more about how this tournament is nothing like the EPL and that even if they progress through their group as winners, the possible opposition at the later stages of the knock out will wipe the floor with them, but I'm sure any team going up against them will now be fully aware of the potential threat posed by this Leicester side. It is of course too soon to jump to any conclusions or make any assumptions based on today's game, which of course was a massive victory at Belgium. However, Leicester City are Cinderella and their fans hope there won't be midnight in their fairy tale.
